Its just i have bought some Lindsey hard pipes (thanks Fen) that already have a nice big Tial blow off valve attached so my current one is redundant unless I 'cut and shut' the pipe again. Might try it and see how bad it is,

I've been running an HKS SSQV on mine for awhile now. I currently have VR 26/6 maf chips and 55# injectors. To tell you the truth I've never had problems with the car dying or anything else. Though, I am going to add a recirc fitting and plumb it back in with the new turbo I'm putting in.

the hks works better than most (BOVs) because of how quick it is do to the sequential action, and the older ones could be ajusted to be open for a very short time. The tial 50mm is a simple piston type, it will let out way too much air and the EMS will flip out. A diverter valve is still the best choice, metered air should not be released from the system with out being measured again (O2 senser). I would only use the tial on a MAP senser based EMS, and then it still would not be my first choice.

I run the stock recirculation valve and a greddy type R in parallel one of my cars. The greddy is adjsutable but still I needed to trim the spring to suit my wishes. The greddy can be used as recirculation valve but currently it blows to atmo. The set-up works in the way that if there is excessive air that the stck recirculation valve can´t handle the other valve blows off. Reduced lag between shifts and runs without any issues. Still I am not completly happy as the (bigger) greddy is a bit slow. I will have to change plumbing which is certainly not ideal now.
