dont get me wrong but i dont trust g-tech. i did a few runs with them and they were saying i was doing low 12s. i would believe that ST would get tens easy with that much power.

The early/classic G-Tech are pretty optimistic but the comparisions I've seen between the new G-Tech RR and a real dragstrip the G-Tech is actually pretty good.

Still think the $99 axles are a good cheap weak link
Let me know if you need a hand getting it ready for the track this weekend.

Greg, I wish the axles had broken......... When you get out of work, feel free to stop by, I'll be in the driveway under the car.
But yes, I still think they are a good cheap weak link. I would've shattered the diff with GNK's or $99.

I saw a porsche run 9's once.
I was at Pomona for an "open street race day" people were racing race cars, station wagons, lexus's, u-haul trucks, someone raced a beat up painters van etc... it was awsome.
I remember there was a 911 looking porsche that from the stands appeared to do a soft start and then it was amazing, it looked like a rocket took off. I was thinking, man that guy is going fast, then his time posted and it was in the 9's. My mouth sort of fell open.

Probably Eddie Belows. Was it white?

It's pretty obvious that it was Eddie "The East Coast Assasin" Bello. His Bellotech 911 has run some low. 9's and it's actually streetable. The guy was in prison (involved in some stolen POrsche engine-tranny scam found in his garage), dunno if he's out by now.

I don't remember the color of the car to be honest. this was in 2000 or 2001. I posted this in some other forum a while back and people were saying it was some guy who'd done prison time for drugs. So probably the same guy.
