Vitesse MAF air flow positioning
It was suggested to try rotating the MAF to change the airflow, I am trying to sort out why 50% of my hot starts are successful. I have noticed how much quicker starts are and smoother idle is when the MAF body is sitting in a diff angle.
If you have 100% starts, hot and cold, with a smooth idle, what clock position is your MAF located at? Right now my best is about 10'oclock, as viewed from upstream.

David is right, VR = 12, LR II = 10; this is due to the way the air travels to/through the tube, less turbulence for each. You should actually be able to move them and hear a difference in the idle, ever so slight but you can hear it.
