>>>Looks good Tony. Where did you get those door panels?<<<
I had them custom made.
The doors have been "gutted". The only thing that is left is the door release mechanism.
We're getting ready to have a verticle slot fabricated in the new door panels for a "slider" to pull up and down the new lexan side windows.
The doors probably weight 1/2 of what they do stock.

Although my preference is Porsche engines for Porsche cars, I cannot help thinking, that this thing (LS7 engine) would be a nice substitution.
Does anybody know if it will fit or not?

They made a V8 944, it was called a Camaro.

...That LS7:

...looks a lot like the mill in this picture:

Though I'm not too familiar with USA V8 motors, a lot of things look close enough for me to think that if the one in the picture isn't an LS7, it might be similar enough to think that if that one goes in, an LS7 can be shoehorned in.

I would really like to do an ls1 conversion like that, just not to my car, is the conversion easier/better in a 951 or will a 944 shell work just as well?

LS7 doesn't look much like the LS1 in the pictures above ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I want to drop a LS2 into my 951 when the engine finally goes out. 450hp/440lbft right out of the box, no turbo lag and the same weight distribution.....
Can't argue with that.
