So yeah, those XK8's are fast eh?
let me just say WOW. I was coming home on rt 84 friday night and this jag goes by me at around 120 mph (im doing 80). So im like holly hell! and speed up to catch up to him. I go by him and he gets behind me as we are going past a car (at around 90 mph). In 4th gear i floor it and he floors it behind me and he BLOWS by me. He wasn't just faster he was FASTER!#!@$@#%. I figured out it was the XK8 jag and prolly had the super charged motor. I tried to stay with him till around 120 mph but he was gone. INTENSE
p.s. i can't wait till he finds another white 944 turbo because i cant say we were more than 5 minuets from special tools house hahah

i drove a S type R and was very impressed by the power for a big car...this is a friend of mines car and he says he pulls on c5 corvettes off the line and then gets walked away from at around 90 mph.

I've got a Daimler Super V8R, same engine as the XKR. Power and torque are incredible. It also has 19" rims and 355/330mm brake stup It walks Mitsubishi Evi VII's and would even give my 951 a run up to 155 when the limited comes in !

I was crossing through Oklahoma and one of those Subreau WRX deal's with the hood scoop went past me a like MACH "Whatever". I was set on cruise control at 70MPH. I see no other cars and figure why not. Drop it into 3rd and mash. When I caught up to him at XXXMPH. I just sat in his rearview in forth. I figured I would let him max the speed in the car and then go buy him. Needless to say he figured out that it was a fruitless effort and made for an exit! I put it in 5th slowed down and reset the cruise control.

Yeah, I'm betting on XKR... those things rock my socks... driven plenty of em when I worked at the Porsche/Jag dealer... insanity in a jaguar... it's nuts.

Its not like i was actually trying to race him i just wanted to go fast with him. Didn't realize i couldn't do that if he was THAT fast
