Default big reds up grade

First a little history.......When I bought my car,a 86 turbo, the previous owner gave me a box of replacement parts. like oil, air filter, wires, cap and the likes. So when I got home a put it my garage and forgot about it. this morning i was looking into it and found a funny looking round pice of aluminun and a set of spacers. I know the spacers is for the big reds calipers and the round pices are for the 993tt brake rotors.

My question is how does rotor adaptor mounts to my hub?.........does anyone have pictures of a instalation to an 86 951?........any info would be of great use, so I could start saving my money for the rest of the parts needed.

regards,
AL

Hey AL,
Here's a bump, cause i really don't know the answer.
I have your engine stand. I'd call now but who knows what you're doing on Valentines Day.

(no, the engine's not in, but that's a topic for another thread)

you have to have an adaptor for the caliper to mount to the spindle. You have an axial mount caliper, where with the Big upgrade, the calipers are radial mount.

Yes, I was reffering to the holes that mount to hub. the small holes to mount to the rotor are there, 12 of them.

Default Lindsey Racing Kit

I have it in my car and there is no fade on track. It requires a little more pedal pressure but there is no fade at all.

At the top of the screen in the upper right corner is "Upload Photo". Follow the prompts.

Send me an email or PM with your phone number again. I need to get this engine stand back to you. I won't loose it this time.

Dan
