I'm thinking about it.

Do you guys know if L/R would sell the rail without the "Lindsey Racing" script engraved on it?

I'm right there with ya on that - I'd really like one that's plain silver or black with no writing. I'm afraid that one of these days, our local smog checks will include the California-style restriction of no aftermarket components. Making that rail plain or black sure would help to keep things under the hood "clandestine".

I'm in. What's the procedure to sign up? It would be great indeed if the rail was plain metal or black.

Unless they are making a new batch just for us, I doubt they would be able to supply them in different colors from what they have in stock. I doesn't hurt to ask though. I would interested in black myself.

To sign up, go to the Turbo944.com board/list and find the "LR Fuel Rail Group Buy - from RList" thread.

Sorry, slow typer.

Buy the time you source everything and machine the rail and legs etc.. You will have a ton of time invested.
You can stay at home drink your favorite drink and order on the phone(not leaving the couch) and a nice box will arrive and all you have to do is bolt it on.

Milling the rail for injectors is a slow setup. They can't be drilled. The ends can be drilled but then you have to thread them(large pipe dyes, more costs if you don't have them)

I don't want to talk you out of a project but I already have 2 built at home rails. It took alot of time.
I think there is a drill bit that is made for drilling holes for Bosch injectors. I have the link somewhere, ill try to find it.
