A dyno run would be nice though, but it's cheaper to throw them away.
Mine worked fine. Chenged them for the MAF chips. Just sell them cheap and put things straight. There's always someone who doesn't like WILD and prefers MILD hp increases.

I was planning to just sell them cheap, but wanted to give the buyer any info that I could get. Thanks everyone for the help.

Question Big Question?

I have stock chips in my 1987 right now. However,

I bought an authority II Stage II chip for Wrecked 1987 (RIP) this summer. I was going to have my wrench install them as well as a bolt like thing with a rubber seal and 4 holes in the bottom of it. The car runs even better with the Authority chips and the bolt thing.

Should I install the chips?

What is the bolt thing?
I forgot the name it is modified and bigger is all I know and my Factory wrench said that it was necessary to install that to with the chips.

I have the SAME chips. Nobody knew what mine were either.
I also have the jetted banjo bolt to go with them.
I was just going to throw mine out, but if we can be sure they are autothority chips, then they might be worth a whopping $0.05, instead of nothing.
It would be nice just to know what they were though.

Hey thanks!

I don't think that Authority II Stage II chips are that bad with "Jetted Banjo bolt"! I had that in my other 951 and it increased the response, RPM, and speed of the car a great deal.
I am one of those weirdo's will spend my money Upgrading the car mechanically or restore it to factory condition. For instance install Cross drilled rotor's, new pads SS brakes and lines, good "TOYO" tires, go through all the bearings to include CV's, New anti-freeze, New seals and belts on the front. Basically restore the car and put it in top notch running condition.
I have found that my 951 is fast. Unless I am going to track the car that serious HP increase is a waste. My expeince on the highway is my 95 will blow away pretty much anything. My concern is that a 18 years car should be 100% mechanically to standard or better before serious increases in Horsepower are added!

I did not mean to High Jack this thread!

I made a bet with my wife. (My wife is pregnant)
If we we have a boy
I get to buy what ever I want for upgrades for the turbo on my 951.

If not then I keep making payments on the
2006 Chevy HHR LT-2 "Loaded" that I bought her Last night!

Either way I will keep making payments! However, she will not go off about all the stuff that I buy and put on the car!
