M030 Spindle price???
Been looking for, and found, a pair of used 968/Turbo-s M030 spindles. However, the $450 price tag seems awfully high to me. What should I reasonably expect to have to pay for these guys?

That's not a terrible price, especially if you're ready to make the change and are tired of looking.
Check out the thread on the racing board about hubs, there are two billet assemblies out now that are quite nice and don't break like the stockers.

Link to the machined hubs. Might want to look at the failure pictures on page 6 to know what to look for in used hubs.

The price goes up a bit more, and it might be a good time to sell the few sets I have

Here is a summary of the price for the billet hubs from the two vendors in the post above:
Price set retail now is $475 per hub and that includes bearings and studs, the stud size is the customers option. Yes I am very interested in a group buy, I will get the numbers together. Please e-mail me at harley@QX.net So I can reply faster to you.

Factory hubs however are over $900 each and not many people want to change them out unless they need to. My idea had always been to design a hub that will give significantly more life then the factory unit at a very good price and at $375 each I believe I have done that.
