Possible to buy o-ring for turbo (auxiliary) water pump?

My auxiliary water pump, you know the electric one that circulates coolant after shutdown, is leaking coolant. I took it apart and nothing appears amiss other than that the o-ring that seals the bottom half to the motor looks a little tired and brittle. I tried using some carfully placed gasket sealer but not certain if it's going to hold.
Anyone know if it's possible to buy this o-ring by itself? It's an odd shape with a kink in it, not perfectly round. A new pump is $195, I hate to have to fork that out for want of a $3.00 o-ring.
Thanks,
Greg

PET does not list it. from what I can tell.
just take the o-ring to a parts store and ask them if they have one of those, you never know they might just find you a replacement. many stores stock tons of o-rings, and dont have to special order them.
is it an o-ring or a gasket? is it a slotted oring?
If it is slotted then it should not mind the shape it's in. I had a few custom made round orings made by a gear box rebuilding company for $5 a pop back home. they made 3 for me in less than 10 min. you might try it out.

Don't bother. Chances are the impeller shaft seal is leaking. As I understand the situation this is a graphite seal and is not available as a seperate part. The O-Ring is there to keep water (like rain water) from entering the motor housing. The pump is not repairable.

Sayporsha, PM sent.
Cliff, thanks for the insight. The more I looked at it the more sceptical I became that it was just that o-ring on the motor housing. Once I get a new one I'll tear down the old one and see what I find.

Thanks Daniel, I really appreciate the offer. Unfortunately, I've concluded that the o-ring isn't the source of the leak, it appears to be impeller shaft seal :-(
Thanks again,
