Which Fuel Pump ?
I'll be replacing my stock fuel pump soon. Do I really need the Bosch 044 pump
or will the Bosch HV pump do the job just as well for my application??
Thanks

I would get the 044.
Which is the HV pump?
Remember - YOU CANNOT GO BY HP RATINGS FOR NA CARS WHEN SELECTING A TURBO FUEL PUMP!!!
And you with Vitesse stage 2, SFR headers, etc. - better get a real pump, dude.

Lindsey sells a Bosch "HV" pump. They say it's good for over 400hp. ???
It's half the cost of the 044.
I know the 044 is the way to go but was wondering about the HV pump.

No. When I say that I mean that these ratings are given for other than forced induction engines.
You are supposed to gve 20% handicap.
So the 044 should be good for around 600 CRANK.....................

It makes noise - but its quieter than a piston with a hole in it.
Your turbo with those headers will move A LOT of air efficiently. You will be able to run even more boost than other stage 2's because the SFR headers lower EGT's by hundreds of degrees.......

Rolex says the 044 is a bit noisey. Is it worse than the injector ticking?

ST: You are a pisser. A piston with a hole in it! But you are 100% right!
