Default XP: Walking timing belt. Engine gurus?

One the drive pulley (on the crank), it looks like the guide lip is is supposed to be to the front (according to the PET). Is this correct? Mine is installed with the lip to the rear which is why I'm wondering if this is my problem.

Lip to the front, the rear is controlled by the tensioner roller which has a lip on the inside facing the engine. This aligns the belt in the "middle".
If you have lip to the front, there will be nothing stopping the belt from rubbing against the alternator pulley that sits on the crank. This would ruin your timing belt.

My problem is that it walks forward and is rubbing on the inside of the Cam sprocket cover.

I'm pretty sure my drive pulley is installed backward.

I'm surprised it ran without any issues. Usually when the sprocket is installed backwards the lip will machine the front of the oil pump and also not allow enough pressure on the oil pump drive gear.
