Default Very Interesting Night...

Well I finally took apart my old motor. This is what happened when I tried to get the jammed piston out of the block...

One other thing, see the discoloration on the crank. That was by each bearing. So...why is that there?

And finally, one more thing. J/B weld should fix that up, right? lol, couldn't resist. All I can do right now is laugh at how ridiculous this whole situation is.

Discoloration on the crank is normal from heat treating during the manufacturing process.

Is that crank cracked too? Looks like a crack in that picture, no? Sorry about all that. At least you don't have to fuss with rebuilding now. A nice used motor should do the trick...

I guess the busted ring call was dead on, ouch!

Is there a 2.7 or 3.0 in the house? Anyone, anyone?

I'm actually looking for a short block - preferably local and prefereably a 3.0L, but if not a 2.5L would be fine.

Dude, is it even possible to get something like that sleeved? Looks horrible!
