Default light show under bonnet - shouold i buy these wires?

While on a test drive tonight after changing my radiator thermo switch i noticed a few little sparklers going off when under the bonnet, one particularly was pretty constant arcing onto the fuel damper. Anyway these are the wires that paragon have on their website, they have stock beru connectors and are 8mm vs 7mm stock. Not sure what brand wires they actuall are. Anyone info on them? cheers Gregor.

Hmm, not sure what brand they are.

I replaced mine several years ago w/ 8mm Magnacore wires. Were only ~$70 at the time. Fit is pretty good.

I would highly recommend Magnecor wires. I have them on both my 944's and they are a high quality wire with great EMI supression. Can be had for $65-$70 too for the KV85's. Do a search for Magnecor. I bought both of my sets straight from Magnecor direct.

Be sure that what you think is a lightshow is not just the underhood light coming on, and reflecting off something. To be sure, remove the light bulb and go for another test drive.

Otherwise I second magnecor wires, but ignition wires seldom go bad on 944 turbos, cap and rotor are far more common. If you are replacing the wires, almost any basic 7mm will do, no need for fancy 8 or 9 milimeter red wires etc. Also, magnecor wires are nice but the boot that will be sold through them is not a perfect fit.

Lindsey carry Magnecor wire and covered in 1200 degree thermal sleeving, looks like a good product, cheap and effective. I haven't used it, so can't comment on it (unless anyone has them and could?)

just got a flashback to when one of my injectors was leaking after the shop changed my headgasket last year, could have been ugly.
I like the idea of having stock beru connectors, need to be rugged and plug and play. That lindsey magnecor with beru connectors looks good horsom.
