"No need to if you start below 100 km/h.
If you start at 60 and still don't have full boost at 100 something is seriously wrong "
I agree, but with brake boosting you have full boost.....AT 60

Skunk, how much boost have you been able to run on a stock 951 (except turbo) on pump gas? Comparing the 951 to other cars is not a good comparison. I assume that Euro 98oct pump is same as US 93oct. pump.

"Tommy please tell us about your engine"
Last time I got called out, I gave a brief explanation about my history with 944 turbos; but I got banned by Tedwright; and he even erased the entire post (which I put alot of effort in), probably because he didn't like the negative remark I made towards him.

how about 3rd gear 3000rpm -6400rpm timed both directions same road average of two runs. I have an audi and on audiworld.com this is some thing people do, there is a record of peoples times. it is a very good system for comparing the same model car.

OHHHHH
Hey. How about this. Its called the Texas mile. You get a one mile run to see how fast you can get going.

Now, who has a 951 that can break the magic 200mph mark?
I think this is a true measure of power. For the weeenie who keep claiming all this high speed acceleration crap that they spew forth from internet legend go look. See how many 200+mph vehicles there are.

Yes. There ARE a 951s in this. They managed around the 150mph mark in a one mile run.
Of coarse this isn't internet rumor racing so it can't be true results.

Yep, in several "rollon" 40,60+ runs I have beaten or at least hung with cars/bikes that, off the line, would kill me.
Actually, just last week on the local turnpike(speed limit 75 wide open, no traffic) , with my wife as a witness, had a bike, 750, didn't catch the make, sitting in my blind spot for a bit and then he dropped on the tank and crouched so I dropped into 4th and hit it. He NEVER got ahead of my door. Let off about 120 and he lifted up, gave a thumbs up and went on.
I think it was posted in the past that our 60-100 times are close with cars like ZO6, Ferrari, Vipers, etc.
