Too much hp-talk, let's talk real life numbers!

More like Bimmerforums.com Kill Stories Forum junkies involving an E36 325ix doing a fly-by of an eclipse. Not much talk like that here.
Just for the record, I don't do many top speed runs so my afterburner kicks in at about 60mph for street racing those Civics.

BTW, there is crisis at Porsche right now , heads will roll because they spend seven figures on the X50 development which yielded only 450 chp when instead the could have used a 951 motor with a bigger turbo , Maf , fuel controller and would have gotten the same results with spending only 4 K.

Actually, just last week on the local turnpike(speed limit 75 wide open, no traffic) , with my wife as a witness, had a bike, 750, didn't catch the make, sitting in my blind spot for a bit and then he dropped on the tank and crouched so I dropped into 4th and hit it. He NEVER got ahead of my door. Let off about 120 and he lifted up, gave a thumbs up and went on.
I think it was posted in the past that our 60-100 times are close with cars like ZO6, Ferrari, Vipers, etc.

I will TRY and refrain from once again from the car/bike thing.

A VF750F isn't a cruiser. It is more commonly known as an "Interceptor".
No, I don't have an Arpilla two stroke. For a while I raced a two stroke Honda RS125 (formula 3) but its gone.
Anyways, my new adventure is trying to figure out how fast a Mercedes E200 will go. Claimed top speed is 227km/h. Will find out Monday.
Anyone wanna know how long that takes to do 100-200kmh?

i havent really been driving my 951 this week. mostly commuting a-la-sac-regional-transit, since the metro drops me off right in front of work. anyway, i finally got a chance to go out tonight, full tank of gas, me in the car (those of you that have seen me, you know i count as two people), and 10 quarts of 20w-50. ok, so the numbers-
10-100 - 13-14 seconds, it all depended on my 1-2 shift.
60-100- 9 seconds.
i need a bigger turbo-
even tho my times arent THAT fast comparitively, it's all i really want for myself in a DD. if i wanted to do 100-200 in 6 seconds, i'd go get a mustang and throw a kenne bell supercharger on it.
