I have recorded such info on my fully stock car last fall, a few days from now i will re-do the runs with a lightly modded car and see the results in comparison.
full tank, uhh, it was about 70 degrees F outside. EVERYTHING was in the car, spare tire, jack, an amp, and 3 adults. i like how no one else is posting times. tomorrow i should have 20-100 times, as that is more indicative of real street driving. who the hell does 120,130 every day.

FYI: Speed limit is 160kpr on the freeway (100mph), i literally push 200+kpr (125+mph) daily here.

Think of it as a smaller version of the German Autobahn

Hmm, How do you start to accelerate, with 3rd or with 4th gear ? Thats also big difference in acceleration time. I have tested my car only once I had stock cam, 3 people in the car, 40 liters of gas, 20 degrees outside. I started to accelerate with 4th gear, not with 3rd. It took 10.5 seconds from 100-200 kmh. After that I have gaines some 100 NM and 50 hp. Maybe I will videotape it. But it should be under 9 for sure.

My numbers are from a running sweep 0-220 kph. Starting with 3rd gear at 60 will probably lower the time a bit since my 2-3 gear change was pretty slow at 0.4 sec.

10.5 using 4th gear is good Markus!

Okay - the guys in Europe are talking about 62-124 MPH, just so everyone is on the same page.

I guess I'll do it both ways: 4th only, and using both 3rd and 4th.

Give us a chance, got to pick the right time and place to run such speeds.

The weekend is about here, I think we will see a few numbers then.

And I don't have a fancy timing device, just a hand held stopwatch

These tests are really too subjective. You have variations in timing, speedo accuracy, terrain, and weather conditions.

I won't try to win the big dick contest with my whopping 592 crank hp (232 rwhp) monster, but these comparisons are far more inaccurate than any dyno or track time (1/4 mile) comparisons. A head to head comparison is a far better evaluation of a car's potential, but I'm thinking that might be a bit difficult, given everyone's locations.

yeah, i was lucky to find that road last night. too bad i had a full tank and 3 adults. damn. maybe i'll try again tonight, but my timing might be off. i'll post my 62-124 and my 20-100, since 20 mph-100 mph is a more realistic time for a "street encounter"......who the hell besides special tool is gonna agree to a race over 120 mph?

IMO everyone can post air temp, tyre size, what type of equipment being used for timing. Im more than sure that 300 hp car will not do better @ 14 degrees of C compaire to 400 hp car on a30 degrees of C.

There are million of points what could affect the result, but in big plan you cant do better than your car is capable of. Of course head to head will be much better but we certainly are on different sides of planet, so..

I will wideotape mine in abandond airfield. put the wid up from 0-200 etc. 100-200 with 3rd and 4th gear.

Markus
