Too much hp-talk, let's talk real life numbers!

Can you tell us what is you engine spec? You are still running 2.5 liter and GT30R (some sort of). Have you reduced the weight of the car?
I´m running E85 and it will make moore power than gas. It contains of 85% ethanol and 15% 95 octan gas. It is avaible at the gas stations here in Sweden. Its 104 octan and mon/ron is 95.3 (thanks Skunk). It never pings and runs a lot cooler than gas. You can also run up to 10 degrees moore ignition, I have 7 degrees moore than with gas.
Yes, 2,5 liter and a 7 bladed GT30 with HKS hotside. (I have friends that have a "Rototest" here in my town and they have runned 600 hp with that compressorside as long as the hotside isnt the "restrictor".)
The weight of the car is about 40 kg (88 lbs) lighter than stock.
Other mods is a fully ported head with 48 mm intake valves with 7 mm shaft, Milledge camshaft, a short carbonfibreintake, a big IC (havnt had moore than 10 degrees C over ambient air), SFR stage II headers, 3" exhaust with the wg having its own 2" pipe, 1000 cc injectors (running almost 100%), 044 fuel pump. And of course a better clutch, solid engine mounts and so...
Boost up to 1,5 bar (22 psi) and Afr is about 12,3-12,6 then, rev up to 7 krpm.
I´m building a new 3 liters for 2006 and I hope i will come down to 6,x second for the 100-200.

I used to get 4 seconds from 60-100 in my 951 (modded). That was fast back in '96. I think my 928 is faster..here's a dyno run in 3rd gear from 2k-6500, turbo comes on at 3k, so it's a bit quicker I think. Thoughts? http://www.928turbosports.com/videos...yno-hi_res.WMV (~4psi, 370/385rw)

60-100, yes, consistent as I did the test probably 40 times over that year. that's making 320/335 to the wheels on my '88 TS with PH mods. Was faster, but that's in 3rd gear, flat surface, punch the gas & hit the stop watch. If I was on WOT before 4k, then it would click about 3.8 or so.
Dont have the dyno chart, but I;m sure I could get a copy from Autotek (Austin, on Gillis: dynojet 248e)

This is pretty bad numbers if you ask me??!!
I made 118mph/ 12.50 With my old almost stock engine??!
I think the 100km/h-200km/h is one of the most accurate "real world tests" because it´s often on the highway you get the chance to rip someone´s self confidence really bad with an old Audi/Porsche

To be fair you have to take different track conditions/altitude/locations under consideration but the fact remains most cars on that list are painfully slow . # 1 shows that he is a experienced drag racer with a 1.6/60ft which got him a good ET but the trapspeed shows he is short on power.
Some of the 117+ trapspeeds are ok and fall in line with a GT3/996tt (none X50) but it also shows that those wheel dyno charts are sooooooooo optimistic because one of those 951's claims 450-480whp and still has the same trapspeed as the above mentioned newer Porsche models which put down 350-380whp depending which wheel dyno one uses ................. the math does not add up.
I always get a kick out of #6 who video beats everthing under the sun with a trap that does not even break a 100.

I think that 1/4 run is when his car was pretty much stock, if not bone stock.
Also, that shows are cars can hang with or beat cars on 60-100mph runs but would get killed on the 1/4.
I would like to see and compare 1/8 traps/time to the second 1/8. I would bet the second 1/8 a 951 does is a match to a car that is 1-2 seconds faster over all in the 1/4.

I agree that this is pretty bad numbers. I did my run with an almost stock 951S and the boost turned up but with the stock K26/8 and pump gas. I almost feel ashamed to be 4:th on that list since my car should be down somewhere around position #100 from what I read here on the forum.

I can't believe I read every page on this. I have a video camera and I'll make sure my girl is scantily clad to jump in the car with me and do this. So what is it? 60-100 mph? or what. My top actual speed is 194mph. Can't break 200 in case anyone asks. I've tried. I have no problem going over 170mph. Let me know.

Oh, and if a moderator that reads this can tell me what's up with my membership? I thought I had a whole year left. If not who do I contact to take care of it?

60-100.
100-200 KMH if you want (60-~125)
gas it before the 60 mark, and start the clock at 60.
or for KMH, gas it at 80 kmh, and start the clock at 100.
i want to see this......

That's why I asked. In mph please. Has to be tomorrow night. Getting the hood repainted after a moron threw a rock at it. I'll do it before it goes to my yearly nine hour detail at about the cost of a good mortgage payment...lol

I don't think many people actually take their cars to the drag strips and time it. I can you how long it takes me to get down the on ramp on the way to work but it's not the same.
