Default Problems with 'black ****' mbc

Hi, hooked up my black **** mbc today exactly like it is described in the instructions, from banjo bolt on intercooler pipe to a 't', with one side going to the mbc then the side port on my wastegate and the other side going directly to the top port on the wastegate, but i am hitting way up over 20psi even with the controller turned as low as it goes, whats going on? My wastegate is a tial wastegate if that changes anything?
Thanks for any help

yeah sorry, but try turning it the other way all the way and see what happens. also make sure you do not have any pinched lines cause that could cause you to serge with BOOSSTT

Is your wastegate installed properly?

Like Ian said, check for pinched or unhooked/melted lines.

also make sure you don't have the lines going in the wrong side of the boost controller.

i am turning the controller anti-clockwise, the **** even has a direction arrow for increasing and decreasing the boost so it is definetely at its lowest, the line going to the top of the wastegate could be pinched i suppose, its the only one that i cant get in to see properly

Isn't the output from the boost controller to go to the top of the Tial and the otherside of the "t" to go to the side port on the Tial?

k-bit, i did try running it that way and i did seem to have more control on my boost but it wasnt steady, it was fluctuating a lot from from about 12-18psi and then it ripped a hole in the hose going from my banjo bolt to the 't'!!! which sent my boost rocketing way up

I still have it hooked up that way, with a new bit of hose of course!! I wondered if it was different with a tial wastegate to other dual ports, the diagram on the instructions definetely has it hooked up the original way that i had it

Once u have hooked up the MBC correctly, one cause of fluctuating boost is having the tial wastegate installed back to front, easy to do.

For what its worth., I have the black **** controller on my 951 mounted in the cockpit and its rock steady, altho mine's on a Lindsey dual port, not a TiAL.
