Yuck. Can't you just space the stock intake mani up just a bit? How tight is the fit?

Yeah Teddy, V band kicks ***.

I have a strut brace, so I cant space the inake anyways. Even if I could, I dont know if the S cover will fit! I am waiting on a guy who may be selling me his CF intake, so that will be a nice solution, means I dont have to make one.

Hey Andrew,
Not that it's my business, with that kind of cash that you're
spending, why not go straight to big bore first & take it
from there ?

I discussed this with ATP Turbo regarding a GT30R and their opinion was that it shouldn't make a difference at the hp levels the turbo supports.
So IMHO you shouldn't worry too much about which cover and inlet/outlet sizes you get.

Big bore costs too much! Especially considering freight etc...

Thanks for that info Duke.

But, you can also get the T04e housing with 4" intake if you have the room (both ported and non ported shroud). At least it looks more impressive

Yes you have!

If you have 480 rwhp you have between 533 and 539 at the crank. Our cars have 10-11% drivetrainloss, not the 17% you calculated on.

Do you have any 100-200 kph time?

Duke,
I dont agree . Though max air flow will not be affected,
using different scroll size will affect the air velocity during
on set of boost.

Default Cover.

"What config GT35R are you thinking? .63? What cover?

The S cover wont fit under the stock manifold, the E cover will... though that means going from 4" intlet and 2.5 outlet to 3" inlet and 2" outlet..."

I'm going with the S. I Have to ability to weld up any intake I want. So I'm not worried about it. But.....

Even if I couldn't, just in the fact that I plan on making that much horsepower, I would go ahead and use the larger cover and not let the restriction stop me. I've looked at this intake. I can't imagine not gaining at LEAST 20+hp from a different version. Shorter runner / Larger plenum. (Expecting 40)

I hope you get the carbon fiber one though. That ... would be awesome.

As far as trim - Ratios.... man I don't know. I have to get MUCH data about what numbers to plug in for compressor maps! VE's, BSFC, for my imaginary engine. (What I still have left to do..... Higher compression (Race fuel only) Stage III Lindsey head, etc. There is ALOT of info on this board, so I have a good starting base. But, with all that said. I still DON'T KNOW! i should have a clear idea by next week. But on thing I need to do is call Lindsey and ask if anyone has INCREASED compression. Also if they have any way to increase the efficiency of the 8Valve head combustion chamber. (Decided to NOT change heads or go larger than a 2.7 (Bored only)

100kph = 62 mph
200kph = 125.

LUV your car.

That LR head of your will set you back in the flow stakes, sorry to be the one to break it to you, someone flowed it not long ago when they had 3 fail on them.

I have decided on the S cover also! I have a spare manifold and are going to "finally" do the intake. There is 30WHP in the shorter runner (9") and bigger plenum (3 litres). This will cost TQ and a little low down HP though.

Anyways, the end turbo config is a GT35R with .63 exhaust housing AR, TO4S cover and V band option. SFR is supplying all parts including v band down pipe and a x over to match... cant wait!
