Default Bosch 044 fuel pump

For all the 044 pump users - which vendor has the best deal for this pump?

Thx
Vic

Vic, I think Vitesse sells it for like $350 with the special fitting you need to bolt it right in. I don't know of anywhere else that cheap.

Whoa are you serious Teddy? Thats an awesome price... so the fitting makes it bolt on? Now that I am approaching 400WHP, I want to make sure my fuel is stable.

Yes, that is it.
One thing to keep in mind for Vitesse turbo users is that these pumps are rated for NA engines. For the torque rise of a turbocharged engine, you will require more capacity - so anyone thinking that these are overkill - think again.

By the way, the GT3 NA engine uses TWO of these..........

The fittings alone cost me close to $50. with shipping. VT's price is very good.

John, what do you think that pump will safely run on a 951?

This pump is rated at 200L/hr @5bar pressure (working from memory here).. I doubt you will max it out on a 951.. Sorry, I do not stock the fittings/adapters.. I just have enough for the pumps I have in stock. These pumps are fairly difficult to find and they retail at over $500..

Regarding BHP John, do you know what they can support? Something like 700BHP? I'm curious...

Has anyone ever used a Walbro 255 lph pump? ~$140 (probably plus some fittings and rewiring) vs $350.

If you do an ebay search for "bosch 044" you will find a couple with a buy it now price of around $180 new. One vendor has 9 available at that price + $20 for shipping from Australia. You'll just have to source the adapter fitting seperate. I'm sure you can get it through summitracing.com.
