Default Glove box Fix ??

Does anybody know, a fix for this glove box hinge
I would assume I will get back responses like

JB weld is your friend

Is that what I should use?
Or should I use a epoxy or even a fiberglass patch ??

Also, for those of you that have taken this off
Did you see how heavy this thing is ??
It's even got a metal plate covered by a plastic wrap with the air bag warning on it
I assume its something to do with crash test requirements stuff ?? i.e. knees into dash ?
regards
Ed

If it is metal try spot welding it, so long as it is not pot metal.

Ed,
No matter what i used, those plastic hinges gave up eventually. I purchased the metal ones from Paragon, bit pricey through:

You take off the bottomr cover, as if you are accessing the original ones. Place the new ones in, install the black over and presto!

Smart thing about them is that the bottom of the hinges are long, long enough for the plastic bottom cover to hold them inplace.

Here is you're moded pic, showing how long the bottom of the steel hinges would roughly be:

In fact, that red line is a bit long , i will take pics and show you how they are in real world later on

I installed a set of black metal glove box hinges from Partsheaven today and they work perfectly. The replacement is so good, it really makes you wonder why the orignal part was plastic. Total install time was 10-15 minutes.
