Zermatt Silver/brown. The engine is up to date, belts due in 2 years, cars temp is at the first white mark, and the engine compartment is as clean as the rest of the car. All electrical items work. The A/C did not work, well it was barely cool. I told him to make sure the doors on the fresh air vents closed when he hit the recirc button, they did not. He traced a vac line, found it off, and the doors shut and now he has cold A/C.

Well, probably when the belts are due but I figure before then - as he gets addicted to the boost. He's already said that he wants to leave it as stock as possible with regards to turbo/MAF so I guess:
Vitesse AFM chips, DP wastegate, AFPR, exhaust, 15psi should get him 245/275 - as this has been consistent results for people doing this. Jeremy has produced these results at least 4 times on 4 different cars.

Ok so why is it people take pictures that cut the last inch off a car?
I have seen this so many times...I mean the car is not moving

Tell him it is Rennlist time

that would be my "crop" fault as I was trying to get it down in size.

Croptacular

That would make since.

I have seen it tons of times in tons of pictures(non cropped) that are correctly sized. I am always amazed...and I joke because I have almost done it tons of times....ok take a few steps back and refocus....

Ski:

Very sweet looking car your friend got. It's really clean looking from the pics. Tell him best of luck and welcome to the boost club!

Very cool...I just bought my first 951 about two weeks ago...in Austin, TX. Also an 86, with 16” Fuchs and the sport shocks! But mine is white and not in as good of shape. The clear coat is peeling up. It looks like a map of Europe on the hood!! But that’s OK for now, its a project car! Once I get all the mechanical probs worked out, I’ll start on the paint and minor body work.
Once I bought it, I drove it around for a week(that turbo is a monster!) and then took it apart!
My list of jobs for this downtime include CV joints(done), belts(waiting on flywheel lock), Cam Housing gasket, and tune-up stuff(plugs, dist cap, rotor, plug wires, filters)
Lots of fun!!
I’ll be sure to look for that gold beauty flying down 360.

Awesome mate! Welcome aboard!

PS I have a Zermatt Silver 944 as well! Welcome to the club... I must admit that your colours looks a little darker than mine, maybe its just the setting on the camera...

Congrats to your friend.

Man, now that I'm finally moving from Austin to San Antonio, all these other 944 owners have to pop up in Austin?! What the heck. Any other Austinites here? We should have meets occasionally, as I'm tired of hanging out with myself! If anyone in Austin ever sees/HEARS a black 951 w/ Fuchs running around with open exhaust, that's me.
