Dyno results
We had a mobile dyno at Autocross yesterday (Dynojet 248). I made 266HP and 264TQ made a pull in 3rd and a pull in 4th (264hp&274TQ), both were very similar. Thought that was pretty good for a car with 150K miles. Vitesse MAF, 55# injectors, and huntley Stage II turbo (garrett Hybrid, T04b with KKK hotside (50 trim), tial waste gate, Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.......
Guess this is close to 300 HP & 300 TQ at the flywheel. Is that correct? Nice graph, with power held until fuel cut, pretty flat in third (holds above 250), but drops of a little on the 4th gear pull (holds above 210, starts dropping off @ 5K rpm)

4th gear is better for dyno runs due to the gearing being closer to 1:1. That is the run I would use. It looks more like a typical 951 graph but somethng is still different. I would expect a greater difference between the TQ and HP with your mods. Why do I think you should be over 300rwhp and 330twtq at 18psi......
Someone with more knowledge should post.

Jonathan, nice graph. Are you sure you have a 50trim compressor? I would have expected more out of it at 18psi boost..

John,
I am not 100% sure about the turbo. It was purchased by the previous owner from Huntley as a Huntley Stage II turbo. I installed it, while working for a local shop. I have very little information about it, other than what I found searching the internet. I guess huntley went out of business?????? The invoice from huntley give no description.

How new are the ignition components? Looks like there is a chance of misfire on the graph.

Brand new plugs and wires, cap and rotor are in great shape. According to the Dyno operator, my plug wires were too close together and the inductive pickup for the dyno got bad signal or picked up signal from another plug wire. I do have a cable tie on them before the fuel rail.
You know, it is funny that it happened in the same RPM range on both pulls???? I saw it on the screen when happened, but did not study the graphs once printed. I asked the dyno operator and he said it was no problem since it was linear.

Seems like there is a larger problem overall. I would expect more power than that.

You should be making alot more power than that. Most well modded 26 cars are in the upper 200's...and your a aftermarket turbo.
