What failed? ---Pics

Could be that the recirculation for the aos is pushing a lot of oil into the intake stream because you overfilled it. Put the oil level back to normal and then drive it around, if thats what it is, then it'll go away. If it does not go away, it could be your turbo.

How much did you overfill?
Drain some oil if you haven't already... The extra oil most likely went through the AOS like 9fitty said.
Don't worry about it for now. If it doesn't go away after a couple days then look into a failing turbo...

you sure it was WHITE smoke? burning oil is blue. my intercooler pipes have a good amount of oil in them as well. your compressor has a bit more oil in it than i do, but doesnt seem like so much that i would be overly concerned about the turbo.

I did notice a loss of power and what felt like no boost.

AOS= air/oil separator which is the black plastic housing with the yellow oil filler cap on top, which has a vacuum line connected to the intake that will allow too much oil thru when you over fill.

Does the AOS need to be reaplaced beacuse of this? Or some sort of seal>?

Cheap and easy to do with the turbo off.

You added too much oil and over-pressurized the crankcase, resulting in a backing up of pressure and many blown seals/gaskets/caps. Your engine basically regurgitated its' own life-preserving lubricant, drowning it to boot!, Whoa- thats gnarly, dude..."hydrolocked" on its own fluids. It only goes to show too much of a good thing is often fatal.
