for sale ! triple-black 88 turbo
selling my triple-black 88.
+ comes with all service records since purchase. +90% of all the work was done and documented by the actual porsche dealer shop in los angeles.
+ all stock, unmolested, and still has original paint.
+ recent/new timing belt, water pump, and clutch.
$8500 firm for rennlisters, i'll be listing it for $9k+ elsewhere if there are no takers here.

aeronautica86; 198k miles, no lsd, no leaks, three minor (less than 1-inch long) dash cracks, more than 90% left on brakes (pagid blacks all around), suspensions are koni yellows (lifetime guarantee on them), wheel bearings and cv's seem fine, no real way to check them but it rolls easy and doesn't click, etc., fuel lines also seem fine, no cracks, etc.
RKD in OKC;
triple black =
1) exterior
2) interior (dash, door panels, carpeting, etc.)
3) seats (the front+back leather seats could actually be ordered in a non-black color)
my original car was black, black, with tan leather seats.

oh, another +, it has custom black-tinted windows all around. you all know how much $$$ it costs to have the rear hatch window professionally tinted... 
it also has a kenwood cassette + cd + am/fm + graphic eq and the factory stock TEN-speaker stereo. all the speakers work, etc.

You've got to call many shops - I've found that of ten, four will bull**** you (or try to) saying "oh sure, we can do that in a single sheet", but of course they can't, five will say "well. . . we can do it, but it's going to take four sheets of film and about three hours and we can't issue a warranty", and ONE will be the good one that says "yes I can do it, I doubt it will be a single sheet, but I'll match it perfectly down the middle AND issue you a lifetime warranty".
They ain't cheap. I was quoted $350 out the door for the rear hatch and side windows at 20% emissivity with 3M film. That's the place I'm going with in a few weeks. Look for places that do 3M.
