Actually was just out side and engine running in the dark, and could see a few pin/pen size "red glows" on the headers. Only a few spots right at some seams etc.

Anyway, it is appearant that the ceramic coating works as the rest was not "glowing". Not sure how much of a temp drop is needed to go from glowing to non glowing (or vice versa), but I can at least tell that the coating is working
