Modifications for 86' 944 Turbo???
#32
Yeah, 951 brakes are ok for the street. But since I started going to race tracks, I quickly found out that I needed better brake pads. Especially at tracks like Laguna Seca or Thunderhill, or Infineon. I've found that Hawk Blue Race pads work all day long without fade. But for the street, I'm using Hawk HPS compound.

I just came back from a body shop....
I wanted to get my car detailed ... but it looks like its going to be pretty xpensive....
The major thing they have to do is paint the hood and other than that buff and wax car with few detailing.... $1,000
Is that a fair price???
What would it be to repaint the whole thing?

For detailing I charge $99-$129 for the complete car at my company, my dad's company charges ~$275.
$2k for a decent paint job but not perfect. Will most likely have to do some wetsanding to get it perfect if your picky(I charge ~$600 to wetsand a car). Expect $4k+ for a really nice paint job.
