Another look at the 89 Light Gold Metallic (AKA Bamboo Metallic in some video games and many Audi's of the same era) Sometimes I'm inclined to think it would be fun to change the color to one of the more mainstream silvers and better suit my own taste. But then when I think about how original and well preserved the car is, I lose my nerve to make the change.
With 71K on the clock, perfect interior, all major maintenance up to snuff and light mods (complete 968 M030 suspension upgrade including rear coilovers and control arms, 3" B&B Stainless Cat Bypass, MBC and Dual Port Tial) I'm now inclined to do a factory color repaint and new rear carpets to undo vestiges of it's early PCA Club Racing career.

I know this is a way old post but...have never seen another "LM1A Summer Yellow" 944 Turbo...have been researching it and have been unsuccessful so far (3 years now)...here some pics, original paint...
