This color is different in every type of light, so I need lots of pics. I have heard mine called Ocean blue and Nautic blue, I don't know what to call it, but I like it. Year '87.

Derek - that's a nice colour. I have been told by someone on the UK board (where I cross posted the list of colours from Peter Morgan's book) that Nautic blue is missing and also that it's an '88 only colour so that would likely make yours Ocean blue.
I really love the two of them and I don't understand why they each lasted only 1 year and were so rare.

Fen / Derek - I have got a 1987 951 that colour - I understood it to be called Marine Blue ?
I will check the colour code at the weekend - and post a pic or two.

Derek, yes they are Mille Miglia Cup 2 replicas (the same set with different centres). I have a set of genuine 17" Cup 1's for track use also.
Richard, my understanding is that Marine blue was an interior colour (the dark blue; the brighter, later one being Cobalt blue). There are 2 Nautic cars on the PCGB forum and they look very like the one above but according to Peter Morgan the '87 colour was called Ocean blue.

Mike, I have your number written down and will call you when I get in.
Jeremy, I'm not sure what time I will be rolling through, but if you want to shoot me your number, if its a decent time of day, I'll shoot you a call and we can meet up, if you'd like.
