here is a pic of mine sorry for the glare its very sunny out and i took the photo with my camera phone.
I used the stock 90 degree elbow on the top and shortened it a little, and I used a S shaped hose on the bottom alot of trimming it to shorten it up a little to clear the hood cause its close on my car.

Looks like we're all having the same sort of issues these days (re: my thread about the exact same issue). I'm going to try and find an "S" shaped hose too.

Tim. Where did you get the S- shaped hose?

Does anybody know of an online store with a wide selection of rubber/silicon hoses?

Damn, so it looks like my setup is backwards.

I thought the BOV releases the excess boost from the intercooler pipe to the maf intake after you cut off throttle?

That's right. Your setup should work unless the spring is to weak stay shut until vacuum is applied to the top port.

Thanks, I changed the spring to the yellow one because I am running 17-18 psi, that's what the guys here told me, that the yellow spring was from 15-20psi. I hope that's the right info.

Technically yes - but it won't bleed and turn into a turkey call. It will bleed the way you have it - the pressure will open the valve.

Okay I got it, we have to use the BOV backwards from the technically correct way in order to work properly, right?

It should work in both orientations. When you install it backwards (like in the last picture) you will have boostpressure on the valve which may open the valve and bleed of boost. This is not good.
If the spring is strong enough. this should not be an issue.
In theory, when you are under boost, pressure is applied to the top port, keeping it closed.
Special Tools suggests you install it the right way (top picture) just to be sure you are not bleeding off boost prematurely.
