Looks nice
For that much cash, it SHOULD!
I agree about that design. Could you integrate a FG design into the stock hood, or would you have to cut them into something like a GTRacing hood?

One of the biggest problems with aftermarket hoods, be it fiberglass or carbon fiber, is the not-quite-perfect fit they all have as well as the inability to use the stock hood latch (in many but not all cases.) I know the stock hood is 'heavy' in comparison but I'd rather modify the stock hood for fitment reasons. It would be nice if such a hood vent came with a life-sized printed paper template for alignment purposed; I personally have my days were I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.
That said, if we do get a universally liked design and someone fabs one up, there's no reason someone couldn't add it to a GTRacing (or other manufacturer's) FG/CF hood for their own vehicle.

I think that the 968TS scoops/vents look great on the 968. I don't think they would look as good on the 951 because of the diff. in hood design.
Any aftermarket add on vents that are tacked on I think will look like ,well, it was just tacked on.
I think to pull it off correctly the vents will have to be molded into the hood.
I had been thinking of finding a good custom Hot Rod shop to cut vents into the existing hood. I think louvers that are cut into the hood will have more of a "factory" appearance than vents that are srewed to the top of the hood.
A carbon or fiberglass hood with vents molded into it , for me , would be the only other way to do this with out looking "Rice".

I've seen a process where the hood is removed
placed on a press which has a mold of the vents.
Once in position, the operator steps on a floor
switch the press move down onto the hood &
walla. Vents completed. Maybe you guys can find
something like this in the US.

That's the "old school" hot rod trick Tim and I are talking about. Louvers use to be punched into everything hoods, fenders, tailgates and such, just can't find a local shop that still does it.

David , will do, have you talked to " Hunters" to see if they might know someone local?
There would also be no clearance problems with the vents cut directly into the
hood.
The only concern I have about vents is water being able to rain down onto the engine. With our wire harnes getting older and deteriorating I'm sure we would see more shorting problems.

I will give "Hunters" a call.
Where I have in mind for vents I think rain/washing would not be a problem, basicly over the wheel wells, between the braces.
NZ, sorry for wondering from you IC nozzle.
Not sure if you follow golf but congrats to Kiwi Michael Campbell
