The 951 wedge likes straight aromatics - it is as simple as that.
Tool,

I agree with you. I've used pump 100 racing, and used a 3 gallon tolulene mix per tank. My butt dyno can definately tell, that my motor prefers the tolulene (aromatics).

476rwhp @ 15% loss would actually be 560hp not 546. You need to subtract from the crank number not add to the rw number. That's why it's a loss and not a gain.

Either way with the OE IC and intake that is damn impressive. It certainly beats my 462 rwhp with my buddies SCCA car!

I am about to start a new project and my have to give John's kit a try. Guess I need to call him...

ST, great numbers, but we are not done yet. A Cam designed to work with the head should yield few more ponies. The cam you have does not have enough lift. Of course the dyno will be the best indicator.

Sounds good John.

Also - so everyone knows that these runs are wth the new sequential injection chip.
I MADE EXACTLY ZERO FUEL MODS TO THE SMT6 ANYWHERE EXCEPT 2 CELLS AT IDLE, JUST TO SWEETEN IT UP A LITTLE.
That is - the fueling and ignition on the 472 mustang run is 100% Vitesse, out of the box chip. Absolute truth.

Max - Absolutely perfect.

In case it is not obvious - I am an obsessively meticulous nutcase who checks, rechecks, then checks things again to get a good result. So if I thought I could pick up 1/10 HP by a fuel adjustment, I would have. Wasn't/isn't necessary.
The new MAF/16 map chip combination picks up everything.

Oh yeah - it was 12.2 flat AFR today

Lart - I would never do high boost like that on a load dyno - no way. I don't even like reving to 6500 on that thing. It works the hell out of the car.

So is there no point to the SMT6? Not needing a piggyback would be great!

Also, since when is 24psi not high boost?!?! Show us a 32psi run on the dynojet!

As I mentioned earlier, each performance part I offer will be tested on the dyno. And it will not be me who is doing the test (just in case someone doubts my results). The head was proven (which I never doubted), the cam is next.
The head work is not cheap, but less expensive than what's out there, and it's proven. HP/TQ is what matters!
