I will order some more, just gimme a couple days to see how many I need. I've been waiting for more of these. This block is a much better design that the LR banjo bolt thing, that bolt is weak enough as it is. Making longer with more holes is just silly.
To all:
Regarding the finish of the Vacuum Manifolds (brushed and clear coated):
The “brushed look” is done with 220 wet sanding and the clear coat I got from Eastwood. However the adhesion of the clear coat is only tolerable, so be a little careful handling the VM. The presence (or absence) of the clear coat does not affect functionality at all and is just a “cosmetics” feature.
Got mine today! Thank you Laust. It is a thing of beauty. Just looking at it I am tempted to take it to the failure analysis lab for x-ray to see how it was put together, but I really want to put it on the car. +100hp cool factor right there. Thank you.
I have once more made a small batch of Vacuum Manifolds as seen in the picture below.
This time I will also supply new aluminum crush washers and one silicone cap (more if requested).
The added features since the first batch are 1) Filleted top edges, 2) Sanded flat on the two main surfaces for safer seal (and better looks) and 3) Brushed and clear lacquered finish.
The prices $49 + S&H cost, which are $6, $8 and $15 got US, Canada and ROW respectively.
Just contact me via PM if you are interested in one.
