A neon is a neon, some people like them others don't. As stated before, there isnt much class showing up to a date in a neon. Then again there isnt much class in not being able to go ON DATES cuz your car is on jackstands in the garage
. Its cheap, its fast, and it probably breaks. Personally I rather have a 600cc - 1000cc sport bike if I want cheap,reliable speed.

I have to say those are some of the ugliest cars around. Especially when they have those ridiculous wings. With that I have a story I was going to keep to myself until I saw this tread. I'm on the 215 beltway in vegas. Every weekend between the hours of midnight and say 4am, a whole group of car guys can be seen of all ages driving their cars. Vipers, Ferrari's, and anyone who thinks they have a fast ride or just likes to drive fast. Anyway, I came up on a camaro ss and modified neon. They were talking to each other doing about 50mph. They took off and I followed to watch only to see this camaro have his *** handed to him. They slowed down and gave each other the thumbs up and the neon guy saw me behind them. He waved me up and he asked if my car was as fast as it looked. I looked over at the camaro and he wanted to go with us and try again. Long story short, the neon kicked the camaro's *** again and he wasn't that far behind me. Maybe five car lengths. The real surprise is that I was doing about 160! I couldn't believe it. I thought they disinigrate at 100. Pieces of crap I will agree but someone is making some pretty go fast parts for those things. You'll never see me in one but that's my own personal encounter with one.

You guys are trying to compair your beautiful 951's to neons. You just can't do it. The original poster was only compairing performance not looks. I used to think like many here that have posted agianst these srt-4's. I agree stock they are only reletivly fast but with their factory mods you can get some serious power out of these things. I am a young, poor student so a $20k car that with $2-3k to mod can beat the bejesus out of most things you see on the road aint bad.
As far as the showing up to a date in one, chics round here are impressed by raw speed. I,ve gotten draws off just doing 140mph in my probe, LOL.

I think I read another post that showed that using cars to pick up chicks does not work... Well maybe it does work it would depend on what kind of chicks you are trying to pickup.

Please guys chill out, I am quite offended by someone suggesting that Special tool is gay. I think that numerous friends can witness that is not true. Even famous "STRAIGHT" people can witness that special tool is not gay if you don't believe me just check it out.
