Default SF-Bay DYNO day May 21!

There will be a dyno day at Devek on saturday May 21:st hosted by Devek and Guru Racing.

All cars are welcome, so far we have three cars ready and one maybe. Dmitry is bringing his S2 to dyno stock and with Weltmeister chip and Danno is bringing his car with a fresh engine rebuild and is doing a MAF install on a K26/6 951.

The Devek dyno is a Dyna-Pack unit and normal price for three runs is 125 dollars, during this day it will be 100 dollars.

We will most likely see some vintage Volvo power as well!

Show up and join the party! All cars welcome!

Devek is located at 837, 2nd Avenue
Redwood City
Ca 94063

Phone number is 650.369.DEVEK(3383) - Ask for Anders

I will be bringing my S2 assuming that it is running. I guess this is a good way to see if my new clutch is working.

What time? How does a dyno-pack compare to a dynojet?

I will be there from 9 am and plan on getting the first car on the dyno before 10 am.

Danno has plans for a Pizza run on sunday as well for those interested!

There are some major differences, the biggest is that the Dyna-Pack bolts on to the hubs (wheels are taken off) so tire slipping issues are non-existent. The Dyna-Pack does give slightly lower numbers than a Dynojet but is very consistent.

Great, we have a wide band lambda and boost reading to the dyno.
