Ok, I'll come up if I can -- I will probably just watch and hang out if that's ok -- if I blow another HG, I'd at least like to do it while driving...

Anders,

Does Devek have the equipment to check for smog emissions? In California, when tunning smog always has to be a factor in the equation.

Some people have asked about how long time it takes to do a dyno run so I timed the time it took for the last car from driving into the dyno room to going out.

In and out time was 38 minutes and that was with one person only, letting the car warm up and doing 3 pulls. Then off the dyno pods and out the door.

We have plenty of time for more cars! Spectators are welcome. Danno will be here all day and we will show before and after numbers from this day on some of the Guru products.

So come over and check out the shop and the cars here, if you are a car nut you will love it!

I might be able to make the pizza run on Sunday. I'm hoping that I can sort my boost problem by then. Can't make the dyno run on Sat. I've got a house walk through.

When & where is the pizza run? Hey Matt S. we should commute down together. Are you driving the red or graphite car? We can try to hook up with Brad too. I guess I'll have to vacuum the car out this weekend. I don't want to look like a dirtbag.

You guys have fun. I'll be thinking of you.

We just dyno'd my son's 914. 240rwhp. (midly worked 350 sbc...)

Hey, I'm thinking about having a garage open house on Graffiti weekend (June 18th). I need to celebrate a bit (and need incentive to finish the job).

More news. Rumor mill has it that the Cooper Cup may be leaving the Golden State. We may have to turn it into a going away party.

I would love to see the 928 shop, but another time.

I'll be heading out about 10 AM or so on Saturday from Larkfield. Let me know if you want to hook up.

Whoops - just noticed you said you couldn't make it Saturday...

Matt - I saw those seats you have for sale. Really nice. If I wasn't in the process of recovering a set of sport seats....

A thanks to Anders and Dimitry for a great dyno day. We had a fair amount of 944 turbos there and I think I saw at least 8 different cars hit the dyno that day. Devek had an extremely nice shop in Redwood City and I hope that we'll see Devek move into performance upgrades for the 944's.

Unfortunately, my friend lost my digital camera so I can't upload my dyno sheets as of yet but my results were as follows:

325RWHP@5831 RPM
305ft/lb@4400RPM
Peak of 19.12lbs of boost
Stock head
SFR Cat Back
SFR Test Pipe
TO4E 50 Trim, #8 Hot side (non ball bearing)
15lbs of boost by 3800RPM

Unfortunately, these numbers were only good for 2nd best on the day. Bill got the better of me with 330+ HP at the wheels. I need more boost....more boost.

Thanks for showing up guys!

We had 9 cars on the dyno and it was very nice meeting you all. Me and Dmitry were pretty busy but I think I got a chance to talk to you all.

This was the first dyno event I have been hosting and would love to get feedback.

Would love to see some pictures if any of you got some!

And for those of you who couldn't make it me and the dyno is here all the time..
