Hmmm ok, I had extreme vibration when I went on one, the motor went crazy at higher rpms, and the session had to be stopped. Do you think it could have been a setup thing? Glad to hear yours went ok though, means mine should work!

I had a problem the first time on the dynopack.
As soon as they put some load it would vibrate like crazy.
We thought it was the LSD at first.
Then we switch to the other 2 boxes. Since they have 4 for AWD cars. And we didn't have that problem anymore.
After dynoing a AWD car they realised one set of machines was busted. Even do they where brand new machines.
I guess Dynopack fix the problem.
Since then i've been 3 time with out any problems.

You just installed a new high performance clutch didnt you NZ951?
I've had my car on a dynapack and seen many run on a dynapack with no issues. If you have a weak clutch, the dynapack will show it though.

This vibration was prior to the new clutch, so people are generally of the opinion that it should work if its setup correctly and dingo's (which there are none in NZ, they live in Aussie) are kept away?

Ok had it on a differet dynapack again today, anything over 10psi and it will shake violently. Tried different ramp up speeds and the same thing. I guess my car just does not like them!?

wow thats really werid. I dont think I am going to be of much help. The only dyno's I have been are a dynojet and mustang. What the differences between those and this dynopack?

Dynojet and Mustang use a large roller driven by the car's wheels. Dynapack connects to the driven hubs (once the wheels are removed).

I keep wondering if there's a viable standalone business with one of these...

Supposidly they give you a considerable amount of TQ with low HP increase. Monkeys work better for all around performace, but very expensive.
Thats what it is NZ, to much TQ for them dynopaks!
Sorry i couldn't be of much more help
