Default any suggestions on collecting funds from a deadbeat rennlist member

ok I wont mention any names yet but my faith in the members in this forum is comming into question. We all know these cars can and will cost us money to restore , upgrade, and just to keep them on the road. That;s when the members in the forum come to the aid of one another...and save us a few dollars with passing on knowledge and often used parts. If you cant follow through on paying a small 100.00 USD bill then I think you may own the wrong type of car. Sorry to vent but I just hate being lied to !!

I suggest repeatedly emailing, PMing and phoning the person who owes you money.

I am repeated suprised by people on here who use the list as a "last resort" to bring attention to deadbeats buyers/sellers, when in fact they hadn't tried any other method of contacting the person. (Not that I'm accusing you of doing that.. I'm just saying...)

Ian, I`ve been browsing the list for quite some time. I havent posted much , but I have for sure read 1000`s of pages and treads learning a whole lot of our cars. I would say that rennlist made my life with my car easier and not to say cheaper..
But nevertheless What I have seen from several similar treads is that
People with paid membership is treated in a "better" way than "users". Not that anyone been treated bad or anything. But this is a fact..

I`m sorry for you problems , It shouldnt be like that at all.. .. ..

sorry for bad lingo, but "spell check" is out of order

I've had nothing but good experiences with Rennlist members. Become a member and expose the crook. btw what did you buy?

The only bad experience I had was with this guy from Arkansas. I bought some 17" wheels for my 951 and he sent me 15" 931s wheels.

hehehehe ....... no disrespect but if you have been around the list long enough........ Being a 'Member" definitely does not guarantee that you are not a crook.

....hence in this case a "user" getting the shaft from a "member"

Ian: Hey we have seen our fair share of threads 'outting' other parties......... Its always nice to hear both sides...........In my humble opinion if your contact attempts have been ignored, ask for a FRIENDLY PM of the party to see if anyone can get a hold of him.

These threads are necessary. A persons track record with dealing with others is always a nice thing to be able to search.

Disclaimer: Maybe Ian is the crook.............uhmmmmm but I doubt it.

If you benefit from the rennlist and are not a member......then you are a crook!

That's a strong statement!

Why do people feel they have to be the Nazite for member ship patrol.

Ian,
I am not sure but I hope this has nothing to do with the harness I sent you? Please let me know! Have you gotten it yet?
