I am looking for a car alarm to give me keyless entry and also a ignition kill. Due the broadcast of this post I guess a national chain will have to work unless some of you DFW guys know of another.
Best "JOKE" Buy is right out!! I would not take my enemys car to those trained monkeys.

Yep i have power locks. They work great. (actually i have to replace that little clip which keeps that actuator in place because it broke off, so i have to manually open my door with the keys now. oh well no biggie)

I have a compustar system in my car. 1/4 mile range for the remote, 2 way alarm. The horn and the lights relays aren't hooked up at all, so if someone does anything or breaks into my car, it's completely silent. It'll page me, so I can go and kick the guy's ***.
It has built in turbo timer, manual tranny safe auto start, and keyless entry, trunk release, etc. Pretty nifty system.

ive heard good things about the compustar alarm, which is the one i plan on getting for my car when i get back on the road. I was quoted ~350 for the alarm and install but i know some people who work there

there is a little cap and nut that keep a special rod in place. when that rod breaks the power system can no longer unlock and lock the locks. so you must do it manually.
