Thanks Herrtzeber. If you're a painter then it shouldn't be a huge deal. There is some trimming that needs to be done, and some waviness that needs to be built up and sanded out. As I said, I had mine done by a big volume collision place and they were able to fit the body gaps fine, but they didn't build and sand to get the real nice finish. It's fine for a track car but not perfect. One of those things most people don't notice but I can spot it right away. Here is a closeup where you can see a bit of the waviness.

I was pretty lucky, not much work was needed to be done on mine....just a little sanding.

Very nice!! Where did you get that nose panel? Where and how much sanding did you have to do?

What is the funcionality of the vented pannels? I know you need a raised one for a bigger IC but what about stock ICs? any more cooling?

Yes there is better cooling. You can search NZ951's name, and you'll find his data. It is still ambient air, just more of it.

Has anyone had any success cutting/bending their own nose panel? Is the SFR just cut smooth, or is the edge rolled in? Any .pdf templates I can print out and cut my own with?

There was a template posted somewhere in that huge 'SFR vented nosepanel' thread a while back..

IIRC they were made by dp951, I've used his templates, so they do line up well...
