wouldn't the fit issues be because the 951 front differs to the 924/ 944 n/a front. i.e, when people ask how to get the 951 look, they get told to get the headlight covers, front guards, etc because they're curvier on the 951?

Panel shop as in panel beater... ummmm you know the people you go to when you crash your car and they fix it. They rolled the edges for a nice clean stock looking finish.

Anyways, I'm kinda thinking of making my own out of fiberglass as a sort of project.
Being that I've never worked with fiberglass....how stupid an idea is this? Is there an easy way to use my existing panel to make a mold and then just modify the mold to have two vents exactly how I want them?

Well its a fairly stupid idea, especially wen GT racing make / made one. Its a fairly big job for a first fibreglass effort! It would be easier to mod the existing panel to the shape you want I would imagine.

Oh I didnt notice you had an NA. I thought Gt racing made one for the 944? Maybe I have an old catalogue.. Your next best alternative is to get a 931 panel and cut the vent section out and mat it to your panel. Thats a fairly easy way...
