Ok I finally got to replacing my old lines with some silicone ones and the venturi delete. Also installed Laust's 5port vacuum manifold . Heres the pic of the end result.

Looks good, are those LR vacuum lines? i didn't try this, but i never though those vacuum lines would "fit" onto the IC banjo, guess i was mistaken .

Did you have to take your intake manifold off to replace all of the lines?

Looks good...I just got my "kit" from Lindsey yesterday and started replacing mine. Along with the fuel press reg, damper, and bypass valve...lots of vacuum leaks on mine!

I don't think I'll have to remove the intake...did you take yours off to complete?

Thanks, I did have to remove my manifold to do the venturi delete but it seems possible to just feed the lines under the manifold. I got the lines off ebay from hightempsilicone and got the 4mm for the vacuum lines and 6mm for the banjo bolt and wastegate.

Unless lindsey has replaced/changed the vacuum hose kits........don't use it for the signal to the wastegate.... the walls are too thin.....otherwise I have had no problems with there lines when used for vacuum.

They look really good! Nice to have matching banjo hoses! I am getting some matching ones soon as well. Looks good with red ignition wires to!

Vacuum HOSES and vacuum LINES are different. The hoses would need the intake to come off, the lines don't.

Size and material.
Vacuum lines are 5/32" ID (I think), vacuum hoses are about 3/8" and up.
So, vacuum lines are the crappy plastic ones, vacuum hoses are made of rubber.

The term lines and hoses are used interchangeably for smaller diameter runs............ The term line and hose does not imply type of material either...........

The only thing we care about is the inner diameter/outer diameters of the lines/hoses........ (arguably the material)

Tomato ........Toemato........... Don't get caught up on the term.

everyone pretty much got it........

Vacuum LINES are those that run around the engine bay, clearly visible.

Vacuum HOSES are thicker and vary in sizes, these are under the intake (ISV, Venturi, brake booster, AOS) and some go to the J-boot and the fuel purge system. The intake should be removed to access/remove them.

I am plumbing an MBC (CV delete), are there any implication if I use 3/16 lines instead of 4mm lines?
