Mileage per tank?
'86 951 basically stock. Averaging about 350-ish miles per tank. This sounds suspiciously low (about a 19.4 MPG) although a lot of it is that crappy stop-go L.A. traffic so maybe it's okay. Anyone else get similar or should I be looking for fuel leaks (or getting on my motorcycle again more) with the price of gas going to over $3 a gallon.

I get nothing but stop and go city traffic(Arlington, TX)
I run a little rich.
Have Autothority MAF and Stage II chips, LBE, New 02 sensor, stock FPR.
19 miles per gallon. Not great. I imagine down the line once I sort out my maps better I will improve on that.
Stock exhaust with filthy cat!

I get about 400 miles out of a tank, give or take 35. I'll bet a tank of gas, having once lived in SoCal, that it's the damn traffic. My mileadge varies based on that alone. I can get as much as 450 out of a tank in pure highway miles. I feel your pain, as i refuse to run anything but 93 octane in my car. E

Well my fuel gauge is off but I can get about 300 miles from about 15-16 gallons, cause thats how much fuel I can fill the tank with once my needle touches the red mark. Most of the driving I do is half fwy and half city.

I get ~350miles on a full tank, which includes 40-45mins of stop and go traffic and 20 mins of highway travel.
The best i got, crusing at 62mph and being "light' on the throttle, i got ~410miles and with 20mins of stop and go traffic. These were done with the a/c on at times (which burns a little more fuel).
Sometimes i kill the speedo and daily for 10mins or more and still and hit 20 mins of traffic, i get in the 350miles range, i guess it is time to clean the fuel level sending unit or get a new one for more accurate readings LOL.
PS: Mine reads 3/4 when full at times

If I drive normally in my daily commute to work, I get 300-350 miles per tank. When I drive like an ***, 250 miles per tank. Purely highway, easily 450-475 miles per tank.

Whenever I refill the tank (edging towards the last mark) I normally put about 12 gallons back in..so I have used about 12 gallons. So I calculate by subtracting the mileage I had when I pulled in to the gas station with the mileage I had when I last put gas in it. I take the difference and divide by the 12.
I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.
165030-164801=229/12(11.92)=19
My 19 mpg sounds pathetic.
I do drive in pretty much 98% stop, and go traffic.
I run a little rich(a/f/duty meter)...but man can traffic make that kind of difference?
I guess I better pull the plugs and see what is going on....

I keep records of my milage throughout the year. I averaged 12 litres per 100km = 19 mpg, although I have had it as low as 10 litres per 100km = 23 mpg and as high as 14 liltres per 100km = 16 mpg.

I made 2 tanks over 500 miles on my return trip from NYC, purely highway miles, 90% night-time driving (if that matters), that's with 2 hoses disconnected from the intake manifold. Then again, I made one tank of all city driving, and got 300 miles.
Don't have enough data to draw any real conclusions yet.

I have been daily driving my 951 for the last month or two. I get 440-450 miles per tank using 17-18 gallons of gas per time. This comes to 1-2 mpg worse than my 84 944. Both stock over the same daily drive to work, mostly hwy with some stop and go.

I average 22 with a mixture of city and hiway, not much stop and go. I got 27 on a road trip to Portland with some "driving like an idoit". 18 mpg is my worst ever, with lots of "driving like an idiot". I think these cars are capable of 30 mpg on the freeway, I just have not been able to do it.
