Isn't there a group buy going on for that, like $299 or something?

Edit: Isn't this what you are looking for? I'm so tempted to get one, but I have a high curb at my driveway and load and unload from a trailer a lot.

Sammy, Are you saying the GT racing one has more clearance? Or maybe you have learned how to drive more carefully? Hmmm..

Dan, I've heard the GT one has more clearance than the AIR piece. Its difficult to tell from the pictures above but the GT extends further out towards the front and not as far down to the ground, where as the AIR extends further down to the ground and not as far out front.

Asthetically I like the AIR one better. But I'm also about worn through on my second one. The first one I had, it pained me everytime it scraped on something, but now I'm just used to it. I figure with new sways and coil-overs this summer it shouldnt be that much of a problem. But I KNOW I can lay it on the ground under hard cornering.

Mike is your car lowered at all. Mine is lowered 1.5 inches and I also have an AIR splitter to put on, lol. This is going to be interesting. Do you recommend putting in a 1 inch spacer I have? I will be tracking and autocrossing this summer. Should be fun. ha. It's going to last a week.

My car is stock height, to the best of my knowledge. If you are running stock springs, Koni Inserts, and a stock sway, you WILL destroy the splitter. I used some bondo to hold the first one together for awhile. The second one (which is in my signature.) took some damage from both AutoX, and some backroads (and animals! damn fox...). I'm about to reinforce it with some fiberglass and use some extra metal/rivets to reattach it. I find that I scrape it alot less since I went to 17 inch wheels, but it does still hit. I cant wait for m030 sways and escort cup this summer so it'll hopefully stop hitting most things.

I think I am going to go with the GT splitter.. it's not much more and I like it better aesthetically.. plus, everyone is saying how their AIR splitter is not lasting very long...

Anyone interested in selling an old or slightly abused front splitter (GT or AIR)? Currently considering all options ... even if it is in pieces .... and as long as you have all the pieces.
Thanks .... shoot me an email at

I just put on my AIR splitter and damn it looks nice. I also repainted the entire front end which made it look a million times better.
Now as for thise with splitters do you notice a difference in high speed stability? I was missing the batwing and I know the *** dyno is not acurate but I thought my car was a bit more stable.
I would like to think the *** dyno was calibrated right and there is more stability and downforce but I doubt I could have felt it at 100mph.
