Ehh...nope. They make 3rd,4th and 5th. Couldn't see any 1st or 2nd on their website inventory...and if Rage2 kills 1st and 2nd...what use is a tougher 3rd or 4th if you break the box before you get into that 3rd gear..? And,it needs to be severely beefier than stock...at least for my intended use. And,no,it's not just a straight line use...that's not what these cars are about.

Ehh...nope. They have a 1st and 2nd. If it has not been released yet it must be very soon. They told me it was due to be released last month. They were testing a few months ago.

You could get a Turbo S 1st and 2nd and put PHII 3,4,5 gears in it wouldnt that work?

Ok...then I guess they just haven't updated their web pages then. I'll just have to call them on monday to get to know if their gears can take what I'm going to put them trough...unless someone know how much they can handle..?

From what I was told by PHII, even with their stronger 1st and 2nd, it's still not going to be able to take a lot of abuse such as hard launches on drag slicks. Just the way the gearbox is designed. What we need is a complete replacement gearbox designed to withstand a lot of power in all gears. It's not listed on their site but it's available, they told me about the complete shaft upgrade with 1st and 2nd gear about a year or two ago. It's an expensive custom job since it's part of the shaft, that's why it's not listed.

There's really no need to upgrade 3rd 4th and 5th, I've beaten the crap outta those gears without any problems. Unless of course you want different gear ratios.

So in general, for anything really powerful,a new set of gears won't help you much...? Is it then the housing that breaks,or...?

Makes me want to sit down and design a fully sequential 5-speed to it...last thing I need is a 'box that pulverizes itself everytime you stomp it...

Hewland will make you one, but it won't be affordable.

I know...thankfully there's other companies out there who doesn't charge you your life's complete salary for improving/building a completely new set of internals...

Time will tell,I guess..

I thought the biggest problem was the ring and pinion?

So...it's just as likely to wreck the ring and pinion,as breaking one gear or another....seems like I'm better off reconstructing the whole box then...instead of waiting for it to break. Then I'm relieved of the task of taking the remains out and replacing them after failure,at least...
