Hi Daniel,
I'm using the type II racing BOV. Regarding the flange,
the ones I got is for welding onto hard pipes. Two versions.
One in aluminium the other in steel. The BOV is mounted
to the flange by way of a big Clip. Hope this helps.

Daniel: Move it to the other side and have it lowered a bit.

I am using TonyG's car as an example

Daniel,
Cut the flange off ,use a grinder or a half round file & grind or file a concave surface that's similar to the hard pipe & just weld it.
Will look much better than welding with the flange
on.

Well, thechnically, you could mount an SSQV like stock. You can get the recirc. insert and I've seen a custom mounting flange on Ebay (haven't been able to find it again recently) that had different nipple sizes for whatever you requested. This nipple mounted to the bottom of the SSQV with a snap ring. The only problem would be fitment issues with the stock intake piping due to the size of the BOV. Wait, just found it: Flange I just measured the stock BV and the 25mm flange is what we need.

thanks for the info porschefile that seems pretty useful. i think what i am going to do is have my buddy make me new IC pipes and make a flange simliar to that and weld it on.
