Got some 4mm and 5mm samco vacuum hose today
Well, the hose is fantastic. The wall of the 4mm vacuum hose is 2mm. Its comforting to know that its a samco product, not some nameless silicon hose way overpriced. The samco stuff is expensive, but they justify it with their name and quality reputation IMHO. Also matches the IC hoses too for those concerned... samco do a range of colours in the vacuum collection. Oh I wonder if I can market this as the NZ951 vacuum hose "kit"

God that intake looks bad *** I just put on some 4mm hose from hose techniques, fits much better than the lindsey stuff in my opinion and better colors (didnt have to use any zipties the fit is so tight). Time will tell how it holds up. Got the white intercooler pipes back from the powdercoater, should have pics up sometime this weekend.

I was looking at the vacuum hoses on Samco's website, am I reading their "minimum quantity" correctly? You have to by 30m minimum? I like the sound of this stuff, but I have no idea what I'd do with 30m of vacuum hose...

Whats a foot? You crazy backward Americans!
PS post pics of your ipes Karl! Word of warning, white powdercoat has a weakness and its name is black plastic, you can polish it out though if you get a mark
I just spent the day VHT'ing my compartment covers, vac cannister, fuse box cover etc etc etc in flat black. Looks good having a consistent contrast.

I went to the website and looked under specifications for the vaccum tubing and it stated " NOT designed for pressurised installations." under boost our vaccum lines become pressure lines. HMMMMMMMM......

Also, is there no need for hose clamps to crimp down the end of the hosing on to whatever it is attached?
I was wondering this but had forgotten to ask.
