Default Part number for KLR vacuum line?

Does anyone have the number for the clear hard vacuum line that goes from the intake manifold to the KLR?

Is it the right size (width) and the right hardness?

Oh and what size is it?

Part number is 944 618 810 00. I recall it is around $30 from a dealer, and it comes with the manifold fitting installed. The KLR fitting will have to be reused from the existing line.

There's a special fitting on the manifold side?

I believe Jim was referring to the banjo bolt on the intake manifold......

But doubt that it comes with the KLR line, was not availabel with the line (here anyway).

Why not use the same stuff for the vac lines that lindsey racing sells? I don't think that would do anything bad using that stuff if it does please inform me as I'm doing all the vac lines and my fuel lines right now.

I'm not real comfortable with having a soft line going through the firewall. It may get crimped somewhere, plus it has to deal with a couple tightish turns the way I have all my crap squeezed into the footwell.

No, Im referring to the fitting on the line that the banjo bolt fits through. I have ordered these lines from the factory before and they come with the fitting on them.

The only problem with replacement is routing the line through the rubber boot on the fire wall that the wiring harness runs through. This would be difficult to accomplish with a soft, pliable line/hose.

I will be using the Samco hose through the firewall, but I dont have the stock harness anymore... I would love one of those harness connectors if I knew that had one for the shape of the hole in our cars...
