anybody got some from an angle? the stop-down pics are good too, but interested in the view from eg 45 deg as well.

There's a chance the rest of the raised section is going to be removed as well. And there's still way more that can be removed after that.

The sections between the bolt holes can be removed up to where the clutch friction material will contact the flywheel. See horrible picture doctoring. This would be limited to people running stand alone, because the reference sensor post will get removed. You could just leave a spot for the post and an opposing feature, but this inconsistant profile could have some strange effects on the reference sensor.(pure speculation)

Remove where the red is.

If you want to remove weight from a stock flywheel you remove the whole back ring.

I will hunt up a pic of mine.

u mean the whole front ring, right? engine-side, with the two sensors.
